tangy hot chicken bbq


I went to Florida last year to see my cousin & she made a steak on the bbq grill, marinading it in this same bbq sauce I used for this chicken.  It is an amazing vinegar based sauce that tastes awesome on beef or chicken that is grilled.  It gives a tender, tangy flavor with a pop of heat!   It also tastes great with baked potato or roasted veggies!



1/3 cup of red wine vinegar
1 – 2 teaspoons of dried crushed red pepper
1 teaspoon of olive oil

It’s enough to do one large steak, or about 8 pieces of chicken.   If you wish to have extra to use as a dipping sauce, double the recipe.



Mix everything in a bowl & let sit for 10 minutes.
Grill the meat on a bbq until nearly done – baste with sauce the last 5 minutes of cook time
